Beaufort Knights and Eifel-Mosel Bären join forces to create a new U16 team

The Beaufort Knights are pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Eifel-Mosel Bären for the upcoming season. Through this cooperation, a new U16 team will be established.

This collaboration represents an important step in the continued development of our youth program and provides young players with another opportunity to continue their ice hockey journey with the Beaufort Knights.

Nima Hedlund, Head of Junior Development at the Beaufort Knights, says:

“Establishing a U16 team is a really exciting step for the Beaufort Knights and our youth development program. It gives our players the opportunity to continue developing within the club and progress together as a group. At the same time, it helps us keep our young players within our own program for longer, rather than having them look for other opportunities to continue playing ice hockey at this age.

A big thank you also goes to our Team Managers, Thierry and Patrick, who took responsibility for the communication with Bitburg and played a major role in making this collaboration possible. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but we are extremely excited to get started and build something positive for the future.”

Looking ahead

The new U16 team is another important part of the Beaufort Knights’ long-term commitment to youth development and to creating a clear pathway for young players within the club.
