Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg joined forces to increase our ice hockey footprint in the low-countries and provide easy access to top ice hockey coaching seminars for all coaches in those 3-countries.

In 2018, Johan Bollue came-up with the idea to create a bigger footprint and managed to get the IIHF support to make this unique setup possible. However, due to the pandemic the seminar had to be postponed until now, June 25 and 26 will be our first BENELUX edition.

In cooperation with the IIHF (international Ice Hockey Federation) several international top speakers will be present during this 2-day event held in TILBURG (NL). The program focusses on 4 streams COACHES, GOALIE COACHES, CLUB LEADERSHIP (Board members) and OFFICIATING Developers and coaches.

The 2-day seminar is divided in 4-dayparts, each daypart starts with an overall presentation by an international guest speaker, following each individual stream will break-out in workgroups projecting the topic onto their specific stream by further discussing problem area’s, looking for options and best practices to be implemented. Each workgroup will be moderated by one of the international guests or presenters.

An important goal of the seminar is to increase and support our BENELUX network, to learn from each other and work closer together to further develop our players, promote the sport and grow our game. We aim to keep the workgroups connected following the seminar to optimize the return for all our participants.

Participation fee for this 2-day event is 97.5 Euro per person. This includes all sessions, workgroups, lunches, and extra’s. Overnight accommodation is available as an option, just mark your requirement on the application form and you will receive all different accommodation options.

Note that participation to this seminar counts towards a FULL RE-CERTIFICATE of your coach’s certificate LTP, L1, L2 and L3. Following participation your certificates will be extended accordingly.
Starting 2022-2023 only coaches with a valid certificate will be able to be added to eSheet for all games U20 and below.
